Student Service at Ronald McDonald House

The students of Christ Is Alive ministry are very active in service to their community in various ways.  One of the ways we come together as the body of Christ to love others is our cooking night at The Ronald McDonald House in Iowa City.

RMCH1

This year, our night to cook is going to be on Sunday, April 23rd.  We will leave Ainsworth at 2:00p.m. and go up to Iowa City.  We’ll be frantically cooking the meal and having it ready to serve at 5.  Afterwards, the group will enjoy a meal together at Steak & Shake (also one of our favorite events!)

CIA is looking for donations of Tator Tots, Cream of Mushroom Soup, Canned Corn, Canned Green Beans, and Velveeta Cheese.  You can find a place to sign up in the back of both churches after Sunday’s Service.  If you want to support this mission, it would be greatly appreciated!  We also need drivers/adult support to carry out this mission.  You can be part of the beautiful body of Christ in mission by joining this event!  You can also bear witness to students doing ministry!

If you would like to make a donation, but can’t be at the church before April 23rd, please contact AmySara Richardson via message, text, email or on her cell.  Your prayer support is also greatly appreciated!

All donations must be at each church by 9am and 10:30 am on Sunday, April 23rd.  Cash support is also welcome.

God bless you!
