Wesley Woods Camp and Retreat Center
Iowa United Methodist Church Camp Wesley Woods, located in Indianola, Iowa has just released a new APP, downloadable from the iTunes and Play stores. (Search “wesleywoodsiowa”) This app will allow people to view a stream of photos that share the camp experience, as well as allow people to drop a note for campers using a simple form. Wesley Woods offers many opportunities for campers of all ages, and it’s not too late to register for summer camp today! With activities like wagon rides, horse trail rides, pony rides, swimming, canoeing, slip-n-slide, pontoon rides, climbing wall, Bible Studies, fishing, scavenger hunts, challenge games, high and low ropes and archery, camp is sure to be an exciting time! Pictured Rocks Camp and Retreat Center
Iowa United Methodist Church Camp Pictured Rocks, located in Monticello, Iowa has operated church camp for 55 years! This camp offers courts and playing fields, frisbee golf, a trust trail, hiking trails, sledding (in the winter), and a Gaga Pit (outdoor dodge ball). There are activities like climbing towers, caves, zip lines, rock climbing, kayaking, tubing, swimming, and even have expanded camp experiences that travel to Sundown Mountain! Lake Okoboji United Methodist Camp and Retreat Center
Located in Spirit Lake, Iowa, Okoboji offers some of the most extensive camping opportunities for people of all ages! Full Week camps with themes like “Club Hollywood”, “Island Escape”, and “You Can’t Do That At Camp!” and Adventure Upgrades like Go-Karts, Dance, Equestrian, Ariel Adventure, Amusement Park and Mini Golf are sure to add to make a lifetime of memories! There are half-week camps called “Short Stacks” for kids aged 6-9. Camp Wyoming
A mission of the Presbytery of East Iowa and located in Jones County, Iowa; this Christian summer camp and year round retreat center has had an impact on tens of thousands of youth and families since it began in 1960. Overnight and Week long camps offer everything from Pirates to swimming lessons, treasure hunts, arts and drama, a sports camp with kickball, flag football, and basketball, team building, canoeing and caving, archery, tent and tree house sleeping, high ropes and zip lines! Lakeshore Center at Lake Okoboji
Located in Milford, Iowa; Lakeshore Center welcomes everyone to experience the life-changing love of Jesus in a beautiful setting and is a ministry of the North Central Iowa, Prospect Hill, and Minnesota Presbytery and is associated with the Presbyterian Church (USA). Bible Study, archery, canoeing, kayaking, low challenge course, high challenge course, field games, arts and crafts, nature hikes, 9 square in the air, labyrinth, GaGa ball and disc golf are just some of the activities at Lakeshore Center. There is a camp for Leaders in Training, which lasts 10 days and prepares youth over 16 to be camp counselors and even a NIGHT OWLS camp, where kids set their own schedule (stay up late and do night activities, sleep in late, and start it all over again!) Crooked Creek Christian Camp
Located in Washington County, Iowa, Crooked Creek Christian Camp is a member of the Southeast Iowa Mennonite Camp Association. Crooked Creek offers a variety of camps for students in grades 1-12 each summer with activities that include an Activity Center with a rock climbing wall, basketball courts, billiards and fooseball, a natural waterslide, prayer labyrinth, swimming pool, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boating, self guided nature walks, outdoor chapel, frisbee golf, hiking, volleyball and a children’s playground. Crooked Creek also offers a retreat center available for individuals and groups and pavilions which may be reserved for family reunions and other gatherings. Summer Games University
A weeklong camping experience for people from 6th grade through graduating high school to worship and draw closer to Jesus.
